The man whispered, “God, speak to me” and a meadowlark sang .But, the man did not hear. So the man yelled, “God, speak to me” and the thunder rolled across the sky .But, the man did not listen. The man looked around and said, “God let me see you.” And a star shone brightly .But the man did not see. And, the man shouted, “God show me a miracle.” And, a life was born .But, the man did not notice. So, the man cried out in despair, “Touch me God, and let me know you are here.” Whereupon, God reached down and touched the man .But, the man brushed the butterfly away … and walked on

 

مردی گفت: خدایا با من حرف بزن.و پرنده ای شروع به آواز خواندن کرد ولی مرد متوجه نشد،مرد فریاد زد خدایا بامن حرف بزن و رعد وبرقی در آسمان به صدا در آمد ولی مرد نفهمید. مرد به اطراف نگاه کرد و گفت خدایا بگذار ببینمت و ستاره ای پرسو درخشید. مرد متوجه نشد . سپس مرد فریاد زد خدایا به من معجزه ای نشان بده وزندگی متولد شد ولی مرد نفهمید.مرد با ناامیدی گریه کرد و گفت: خدایا مرا لمس کن، و بگذار بدانم که اینجایی. در نتیجه خدا پایین آمد و مرد را لمس کرد ولی مرد پروانه را با دستانش از خود دور کرد و رفت.
