Male birds are frequently more brightly colored than females. This is to attract females for mating purposes. The females are more dully colored, helping to camouflage her when she is caring for her young (although the male often cares for the young, with or without the female). The peacock (the male peafowl is pictured above) is very brightly colored. The peahen (the female peafowl) is dull brown in color.

It was the wide, open territory of Mina during the Hajj season. Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S) was sitting in his corner surrounded by his friends, other Hajjis, eating grapes.
A poor man passed by and asked for help. The Imam offered him a handful of grapes, but the beggar refused them and demanded money. The Imam (A.S) said, ‘I do not have money to give you. The poor man went away, disappointed. After walking away, he decided to accept the grapes and returned. ‘O.K, I’ll accept the grapes.’ The Imam (A.S) said those offered to him were no longer there.

He reveals to her that he orchestrated the shipwreck and tells her the lengthy story of her past, a story he has often started to tell her before but never finished. The story goes that Prospero was the Duke of Milan until his brother Antonio, conspiring with Alonso, the King of Naples, usurped his position. Kidnapped and left to die on a raft at sea, Prospero and his daughter survive because Gonzalo leaves them supplies and Prospero’s books, which are the source of his magic and power. Prospero and his daughter arrived on the island where they remain now and have been for twelve years. Only now, Prospero says, has Fortune at last sent his enemies his way, and he has raised the tempest in order to make things right with them once and for all.

سعی کنید حتماً یک دفتر لغت مناسب تهیه کنید و هر موقع که به لغت جدیدی برخوردید آن را در دفترتان یادداشت کنید. فقط به نوشتن لغت و معنی آن اکتفا نکنید. بعضی از مواردی که میتوانید در دفترتان ثبت کنید عبارتند از: توضیح انگلیسی معنی لغت، مترادف ها، متضادها، تصاویر، جملات نمونه (به انگلیسی)، علائم فونتیک، نوع کلمه (اسم، فعل و ...)، نکات گرامری (قابل شمارش، غیرقابل شمارش و ...)، کلمات هم خانواده و ....
کارهای جالبتری هم می توانید انجام دهید: مثلاً میتوانید خودتان با لغت جدید یک جمله بسازید و یادداشت کنید. و یا صفحاتی را به موضوعات خاصی اختصاص دهید؛ مثلاً حیوانات، رنگها و شکلها، پول، مسافرت، غذاها و میوه ها و ....
