Sara: Pasta salads are great as a side dish or even entire meal. You can be as imaginative as you want, as healthy or as naughty depending on your mode! They are also easy to transport which makes them ideal as picnic, potluck or office lunch options. This recipe is as tasty as it is easy, enjoy.

Main Ingredients:

Chicken Breast: 2 Cooked and diced
Pasta: 250 g (You can use any type of small or medium sized pasta like penne or shell. Whole wheat and flavoured pastas work well too.
Yam: 1 Medium
Red Onion: 1 Medium
Bell Pepper: 3 Small bell peppers (Green, Red and Orange)
Olive oil: 2 Tbsp
Feta: 1/2 cup crumbled
Parsley
Salt and Pepper

Greek-Style Pasta

Greek Style Pasta Recipe

Ingredients:

¾ pound ground lamb or ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (14½ ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 (5½ ounce) can tomato juice
½ cup water
½ teaspoon instant beef bouillon granules
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup uncooked medium shell macaroni
1 cup frozen cut green beans
½ cup crumbled feta cheese (2 ounces)


Directions:

1. In a large skillet, cook ground lamb or beef and onion until meat is no longer pink. Drain.

2. Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato juice, water, bouillon granules, cinnamon and garlic powder. Bring to boiling.

3. Stir uncooked shell macaroni and green beans into meat mixture.

4. Return to boiling, reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 15 minutes or until macaroni and green beans are tender.

5. Sprinkle with feta cheese. Makes 4 servings

About this Recipe:

NavidNavid: This recipe for pizza crust is a general and easy recipe. The main key ingredient in this recipe is honey which makes the crust crispy. Add your favorite pizza toppings and enjoy.

Main Ingredients:

Flour: 3.75 cups
Yeast: 2 tbsp
Salt: 1 tsp
honey: 1 tbsp
Olive oil: 1-2 tbsp
Warm water: 1+1/2 cup

Directions:

1. If using bread machine, add all main ingredients in the order suggested by your bread machine manual and process to form the dough then skip to step 6. Otherwise start from step 2.

2. Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water and let it stand for 3 min.

3. Mix the flour and salt together.

4. Pour the yeast mixture, the rest of the water, honey and olive oil into the center of the flour and mix to dough.

5. Knead for 15 min or until dough becomes smooth and elastic.

6. Divide dough into 2 round pieces. Slightly sprinkle the baking sheet with flour and transfer rolls to it. Cover and leave them in a warm place for 1.5 hours or until doubled in bulk.

7. To make pizza, spread the dough into half a centimeter.

8. Add your toppings and bake in 400 F oven for 20 min

Plain or vanilla yogurt: 2 cups
Low-fat sour cream: 1/2 cup
Pineapple juice: 1/2 cup

Fresh fruits: 5 cups
Frozen blueberries: 1-2 cups, thawed
